Angel View came to JNS Next because they were experiencing perception issues regarding their mission as an organization, and who they served, and how. The community perceived them as only serving developmentally disabled children, not realizing that adults were also served by their organization, many of which had lived most of their lives under Angel View’s care. Our job was to help stimulate an increase in donations and retail sales both in the Coachella Valley and Inland Empire locations by telling a more accurate story about the organization.
JNS Next launched a campaign based around the clients of Angel View with the headline “Donate. Shop. Change Lives” and the tagline “After all, life is about what we CAN do”. We set up professional photo shoots profiling one-year old Kehlany, as well as Marlina and Luke with the goal of humanizing Angel View’s cause.
These images were paired with the headline and tagline across many platforms, including billboards, trucks, and collateral material for their resale shops. We also launched a tv and radio campaign telling their individual stories with a call to action asking people to “Donate. Shop. Change Lives”. The tv ads were cut to :15 to maximize repetition and exposure, and the :30 radio spots ran exclusively in the Inland Empire region.
Sales were up an average of 21% each quarter before the onset of COVID and closure of the Angel View resale shops.
